Twice a year, more than 90,000 people fill the campgrounds that edge the New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon. Some bring their RVs and stay for a couple of days leading up to the race, while others pitch tents for the weekend. At Lot S6 on Friday, night sounds of fires crackling and cans cracking open were joined by hard rock and an unexpected bagpipes set. Each lot creates its own vibe and at S6, it was all about what Kevin Sgro of Maine called the “NASCAR family.” For more photos, visit concordmonitor.com.
