UNH hockey team beats UMass to end winless drought

’Cats come to life

Justin Agosta scored two goals, helping the University of New Hampshire hockey team snap a six-game winless streak with a 4-1 win over Massachusetts in Durham last night.

Agosta gave the Wildcats (2-5-1) leads of 1-0 and 2-1, then Kyle Smith and Trevor van Riemsdyk added insurance tallies. Goalie Casey DeSmith made the lead stand up by making 22 saves.

Seven UNH players recorded assists, led by Jeff Silengo with two.
