UNH men’s basketball team gets pair of big recruits
The University of New Hampshire men’s basketball team received National Letters of Intent from a pair of big men.
Tanner Leissner, a 6-foot-7 forward from Texas, joins UNH after playing for Converse Judson High School. He earned District MVP and First Team All-District Honors last season while averaging 14 points and nine rebounds.
Ibrahima Camara, a 6-9, 225-pound power forward from Senegal, comes to UNH after playing for Admiral Farragut Academy in Florida and the St. Paul’s School in Maryland.
“One of our biggest needs with this recruiting class was to bring in a couple of frontcourt players and we did that with both of these players,” Wildcats Coach Bill Herrion said. “So we are very happy with both Tanner and Iba.”
