Monarchs snap skid, beat Hartford, 5-2

Linden Vey and Tanner Pearson each collected three points as the Manchester Monarchs snapped their two-game losing streak with a 5-2 victory over the Hartford Wolf Pack yesterday.

Vey scored twice and added an assist, while Andy Andreoff, A.J. Gale and Brandon Kozun also scored. Pearson assisted on three of the Monarchs’ first four goals as Manchester (22-7-1-4) broke on top 4-0 midway through the second period.

J.F. Berube made 25 saves against Hartford (11-16-0-4).
