When Jeff Soule took over the John Stark field hockey team his main focus was one thing – “you’ve got to get that goal-scoring mentality going.” That’s not to say that midfield and defensive play isn’t important. It takes the support of the entire team to keep the ball in its opponents’ end or at least force them to have to work hard to keep the ball away from their own.
