Weare’s Rebecca Beaulieu scored a game-high five goals in the Mount Ida women’s lacrosse team’s 15-14 victory over Fitchburg State.

∎ Penacook’s Mike Lavery scored three second-half goals to lead the Norwich men’s lacrosse team to an 8-4 victory over Johnson & Wales. Canterbury’s Andrew Dustin had a game-high five groundballs for Norwich.

∎ Concord’s Griffin Tewksbury went 2-for-5 with two runs and an RBI in the Bates College baseball team’s 3-1 victory over St. Joseph’s.

Men’s basketball

Mihachik Builders came out of the losers’ bracket to beat Clough Landscaping, 64-49, and force a winner-take-all championship game tomorrow at 11 a.m. in the C League of the Concord Men’s Basketball League. Cam Drouin scored 13 points and Zack Drouin added 11 for the winners. Aaron Phinney (14) and Chuck Lloyd (13) paced Clough.

∎ The third-seeded Has Beens went undefeated in the Concord Men’s Basketball League playoffs to capture the D League championship, beating New School Vinyl, 58-44. Max Gordon scored a game-high 20 points and Grant Edwards chipped in 12 for the Has Beens. Cliff Cutter (11) and Josh Robbins (10) led top-seeded New School.

NHGA tournaments

The New Hampshire Golf Association is adding the NHGA Tournament Series, allowing golfers with a current GHIN handicap at an NHGA member club to compete in a more laid-back atmosphere. Players are encouraged to pick their tee time and to play with friends. All players will compete in both a gross and net division. Hillcat Baseball Kick-Off Clinic, run by Hillsboro-Deering Coach Mike Donnell, will be held tomorrow at Hillsboro Deering High School for players in grades 5-8. The clinic for 5th- and 6th-graders will be from 10 a.m.-noon, while the 7th- and 8th-graders will go from 1-3 p.m. The first 24 kids from each group to respond will be accepted. Cost is $20. The Concord Boys and Girls Club will be starting its eight-week Skills and Drills clinic on Monday. The clinic will be held Mondays and Wednesdays through May 28. The cost of the session is $100. UNH women’s volleyball coaching staff will host an overnight camp Aug. 1-3. Participants will have access to Lundholm Gymnasium and all of the amenities of the UNH campus. The cost of the camp is $200 per player. Teams must register and pay all together collectively. Teams must consist of a minimum of 10 players and up to a maximum of 15.
