UNH men’s hockey team officially brings on Stewart as associate head coach

The University of New Hampshire men’s hockey team made its addition official, bringing on alum Glenn Stewart to replace the resigning Jim Tortorella as associate head coach, effective immediately.

“We are excited to announce the addition of Glenn to our staff,” Head Coach Dick Umile said. “Glenn was a standout student-athlete here at UNH and brings a great deal of coaching and recruiting experience to the program.”

Stewart was a member of the Class of ’94, and was an assistant captain during his career with the team. He was a coach at Merrimack from 2009-14.
