The journey began with a sleepy bus ride to Boston for the St. Paul’s School girls’ hockey team yesterday. Chosen to play the first game of a quadruple-header for Frozen Fenway’s Independent School League day, on arrival the athletes excitedly ran from the warm interior of the stadium to take in the cold air and historic view of the Green Monster. Just behind the first-base dugout, the Red Sox batting cages served as the girls’ makeshift locker room. And though they had to settle for a 0–0 tie in overtime, the special venue kept the girls’ spirits high.
