The Insiders: Love is in the air in Concord
It’s never too early to plan a romantic moment for that special someone in your life. Especially when it comes to Valentine’s Day.
And with the holiday just over a week away, there’s not much time left to pull off a surprise they will never forget. So why not tell them “I love you” with a song. Now we’re not about to tell you to stay away from personally singing to the love of your life, but they may appreciate it more from the professionals. That’s where the Concord Chorale comes in.
The group is offering Singing Valentines that will serenade your valentine at the location of your choice. For $75, your valentine will receive one love song, a long stemmed rose and two tickets to the next Concord Chorale concert. And you can add a second song for just $25. There are eight songs to choose from. Just think about how surprised your sweetheart will be when the Concord Chorale shows up while they’re finishing up a nice long run at the gym.
The chorale is available Feb. 13 from 5 to 9 p.m. and Feb. 14 (Valentine’s Day) from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. To schedule a Singing Valentine, call Deb Yeager at 731-2244.
And in honor of Weatherperson’s Day (which is today and a real thing), it sure is nice of Mother Nature to challenge all the meteorologists out there. It’s only appropriate to see just how good they are at guessing when it comes to today’s snowfall.
