How did you feel about the way your year went? This season went great! There were some meets that I felt that I could have done better in, but overall it was a great season and a learning experience.

What’s the best advice you’ve gotten about swimming, from either a coach, teammate, etc.? The best advice that I have ever received would have to be “to learn from my mistakes and to improve in my next race from them.”

Is there a way to tell you’re going to have a bad or good meet before you even get in the pool? I usually cannot tell whether I will have a good or bad meet until I complete my first event. My first event is the one that lets me know how the rest of the meet will go.

What are often the thoughts going through your head right before the gun sounds? I try to visualize the race and run through the correct technique in order to swim fast and drop my time.

What’s your favorite event to swim? Least favorite? My favorite event would have be the 100 and 200 freestyle. My least favorite event would have to be the breaststroke.

What’s the hardest thing about swimming competitively? The hardest thing about swimming competitively would have to be dropping time in every event.

How closely do you follow swimming when the Summer Olympics are on? I try to follow the Summer Olympics very closely, depending on my schedule.

If you could see any musician or band perform live, who would it be? I would love to see Imagine Dragons live in concert.

Do you have a favorite TV show? Yes, it would have to be “Teen Wolf.”

If you could have any car, what would it be? I would love to have a Lamborghini.

Do you have a smartphone? What kind? Yes, I have an IPhone 4S.

If you could be on any game show, which would it be? I don’t like or follow any game shows so I couldn’t tell you what one I would want to be on.

What’s your fondest memory from your swimming career? My fondest memory would have to be winning two state titles at the NHIAA meet during my junior year of high school.

What are you going to miss most about high school swimming? I will miss all of my friends that are swimmers as well. Most of which are from other high schools, that I have met and competed with.

What are your future plans? Do they involve swimming? My future plans will be to swim in college, graduate from college, and have an amazing career.
