The Insiders: Agile cats and laughter – say no more
It’s hard not to smile when you see a cat.
They’re cute, cuddly and do some pretty cool things. And if you head over to Everett Arena today, get ready for your face to hurt – from smiling, that is.
It’s the second day of the Seacoast Club Cat Show and with 10 rings of cats, it will be hard to get out there without trying to take one home. Just for the record, you can’t bring any home, but if you ask nicely someone might let you pet one.
From what we’ve heard (and we’re in the know), there’s a good chance that you might see a couple of agility drills. Hopefully there will be some flips involved and maybe a diving board. We can dream, can’t we?
The show begins at 8:30 a.m. and goes until 3:30 p.m. Cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children 5-12 years old and seniors 65 and older. And if you pick up a copy of the most recent Insider, there’s a coupon for $1 off. Nothing wrong with saving a little money.

And if your face doesn’t hurt enough when you leave the cat show, then head on over to the Laughter Yoga Celebration Day on the State House Lawn at 1 p.m. There will be a laughter parade, laughter contests and informational presentations on the benefit of body-based laughter. It sounds like quite a funny time.
