Division I semifinals

No. 6 Concord (11-4) at No. 2 Keene (14-1), 4 p.m.

Previous tournament matches: Concord upset No. 3 Exeter, 5-4. Keene beat No. 7 Nashua North, 7-2.

Head to head: The Owls downed Concord, 6-3, on May 2 in Keene.

Notes: The Crimson Tide should still be feeling good after its quarterfinal win against Exeter, the team that beat Concord in the semifinals the last two years. The Tide got production from the top and bottom of its ladder against Exeter as No. 1 Justin Toler and No. 6 Liam Healy both won their singles and doubles matches. No. 3 Josh Pifer also claimed a key singles win against the Blue Hawks, while Thomas Bengtson and Evan Hewey had a hand in the doubles wins. Both Toler and Healy missed the regular-season match against Keene, and their presence should change the makeup of today’s contest. The Owls did control that meeting (all three of Concord’s wins came via tiebreakers), so the Tide will have plenty of work to do, but at least now it has all of its players available to lend a hand.
