Three area teams led by new head coaches

Three area teams will be led by new head coaches this season:

Merrimack Valley

Jim Coll takes over as head coach in his 11th year in the MV system. He was the Pride’s defensive coordinator the last three seasons, and spent the previous four as a defensive coach after serving as JV coach from 2004-06.

Ray Connolly will guide the Division II Spartans after working with Division I Manchester Memorial since 2007. He was the offensive coordinator last year and defensive coordinator in 2012, and also served as the JV head coach from 2010-11 and freshman coach from 2007-09.

Bishop Brady

For the last two years, Matt Shaw was running the junior varsity offense and an assistant for Bishop Brady’s varsity football team.
