The junior won both the 100-yard freestyle (49.92) and the 200 freestyle (1:48.63) at the Division II championships.

Q: Describe your high school swim season in one word:

A: Amazing

Q: Which was more satisfying, winning the 200 (as the No. 1 seed) or winning the 100 (a minor surprise)?

A: Winning the 100 as a minor surprise.

Q: You put in a lot of work last offseason lifting weights, what will you do this offseason?

A: I will do more running and lifting weights.

Q: What’s your favorite pool to swim in in New Hampshire?

A: UNH Pool

Q: How would you improve high school swimming in the state?

A: Offseason training with running and lifting weights and during the season light running and lifting weights, also.

Q: How many days a year (approximately) are you in a pool?

A: 276 days, I believe.

Q: Are your fingertips ever not pruned or smelling like chlorine?

A: Smell like chlorine sometimes.

Q: If you weren’t swimming in the winter, what would you be doing?

A: Snowboarding

Q: What’s another sport you wish you were good at?

A: Soccer

Q: If you could go see any sporting event, what would it be?

A: Lacrosse

Q: What’s your favorite subject in school?

A: U.S. History

Q: If you could get help in one subject, what would it be?

A: English

Q: What do you like to do on a typical weekend night?

A: Video games, go to the movies and hang out with friends.

A: Michael Phelps, and I would go visit other famous swimmers.

A: New car, new lacrosse gear, get laptop, big screen TV, I would help out my lacrosse club Belmont/Alton, and my club swim team, too.
