The Insiders: Warding off vampires and bidding bye-bye to ‘Breaking Bad’
If you’re like us, Concord, there’s one problem plaguing your life that stands out above all others. Of course, we’re talking about vampires. You invite one of those soul-sucking jerks into your house and before you know it, they’ve moved their whole family in, they’re sleeping in your guest coffins, ordering Snow White and the Huntsman on pay-per-view and finishing off your V8 like it was type O negative. So what can we do about this fanged menace?
The answer may lie at St. Paul’s School. Jim Ramanek of Warner River Organics presents “Grow More Garlic!” at 4 p.m. today. Head down to the garlic fields and get a walk-through of the best ways to produce garlic in the field or at home. You’ll even get a chance to plant some yourself! What’s the best variety of garlic to ward off Nosferatu? That question and more (and not that one, probably) will be answered. If you like, bring a dish and stick around for a picnic potluck at 6 p.m. The event is $5; for more information, visit nofanh.org.

Elsewhere, the Patriots take on the Atlanta Falcons at 8:30 p.m. on NBC, overlapping with the series finale of one of the greatest television shows in the history of mankind, Breaking Bad (9 p.m., AMC). Will you choose to watch Walter White or Roddy White? The choice is yours.
