Division I first round
No. 12 Concord (5-8-1) at No. 5 Timberlane (8-4-2), 3 p.m.
Head to head: The teams played to a 0-0 tie less than two weeks ago.
Notes: Concord started the season on a roll, winning four of its first five games. But once the leaves started to change, so did the Tide’s fortunes, with Concord going winless over its final six games. One of those games was the scoreless tie with Timberlane and three of the losses were by a single goal, so the Tide has been competitive in just about every game. The key for both teams will be finishing, as the Owls were held scoreless in four of their final five games, going 1-2-2 in that span. Sophomore Steph Resnick leads the Tide offense with seven goals, while senior Chelsey Jobin has three and senior Grace Orzechowski and freshman Lauren Mullen have two apiece. Molly Waite is also an integral piece of the puzzle, working both sides of the ball from the midfield.
