NHIAA Executive Director Corbin stepping down
Corbin stepping down
Patrick Corbin is resigning his position as the executive director of the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association at the end of the 2013-14 school year. His resignation will take effect on July 1, 2014
Corbin replaced James Desmarais in 2006 and has led the NHIAA as it has grown to include bowling, bass fishing and girls’ ice hockey as sanctioned sports. During Corbin’s tenure, Unified sports including basketball, outdoor track, soccer and volleyball have also been added.
“... His contributions to this association are immeasurable,” NHIAA President Scott Fitzgerald said, “and his vision, work ethic and high moral character has put our organization in an optimum position to continue to move forward.”
A search committee will be formed to immediately begin a national search to find Corbin’s replacement.
