Pivotal turning points in Concord football’s semifinal win

First quarter

Exeter fakes a punt at its own 31, Peter Lalime gets the first down, and the Blue Hawks go on to score their only touchdown.

Second quarter

Concord’s defense holds Exeter to a field goal after the Blue Hawks had first-and-goal at the 4. Sixty-seven seconds later, Concord takes the lead, 14-10.

Third quarter

Concord fumbles the opening kickoff, but Exeter fumbles the ball right back.

Exeter stops Concord on fourth-and-1 from the 4, but Seimou Smith intercepts the Blue Hawks on their ensuing possession, setting up Concord’s insurance TD.

Fourth quarter

Concord’s defense stops Exeter 11 yards from the end zone with 5:44 to play.
