Monarchs rally to beat Pirates, 5-4

The first-place Manchester Monarchs (35-14-2-6) rallied from a 4-2 deficit with less than 10 minutes to play to beat the last-place Portland Pirates, 5-4, last night.

Colin Fraser and Jordan Weal scored less than a minute apart to pull the Monarchs even at 4-4, and Zach O’Brien scored the game-winner with 2:29 to play.

Nick Deslauriers had a goal and two assists and Weal finished with two goals.
