Narbonne claims Motard race in first day of Loudon Classic

Shane Narbonne dominated yesterday’s Motard race, despite a spill on the final lap, to win the final event of Day 1 of the 90th annual Loudon Classic motorcycle weekend. The Motard race is an eight-lap sprint were riders race on the asphalt road course as well as areas of gravel, grass and several jumps.

Other Day 1 winners were Robert Balla and Nick Bailey (Vintage Sidecar), Steve Fletcher and Fabio Peturcelli (Modern Sidecar), Trevor Arvidson (Super Singles), Samuel Greenwood (Amateur Super Singles), Jake Vader (125 Grand Prix), Roland Arsenault (Amateur 125 Grand Prix), Steven Heider (Production Twins), Cadman Fenton (Novice Formula 1), Larry Stuteville (Novice Formula 3), John Linn (Amateur GTL), Rick Doucette (GTL), Cory Hildebrand (GTO), William Desmarais (Amateur GTO), Scott Greenwood (GRU) and Braden Levesque (Amateur GTU).

Day 2, which includes the signature Loudon Classic, begins today 1 p.m.
