Stuck in Florida

Jordan Cote still isn’t sure where he’s going to spend the 2013 baseball season. The 20-year-old from Sanbornton is still at the New York Yankees training facility in Tampa, Fla., rehabbing an injury.

Cote, a third-round draft pick out of Winnisquam High in 2011, spent last season playing for the Gulf Coast League Yankees. It seemed likely that he would be moved up to Staten Island Yankees of the Class-A short season New York-Penn League with the Staten Island Yankees, who began their season on Monday, but his injury has stalled any movement.
