Fisher Cat Glenn named Eastern League Player of the Week

New Hampshire Fisher Cats right fielder Brad Glenn was named Eastern League Player of the Week for the week ending June 30.

Glenn hit .400 (10-for-25) with two home runs, two doubles, a triple and seven RBI in seven games. He also scored eight runs, the most in the Eastern League for the week, and drew three walks. He’s currently on a 10-game hitting streak.

∎ Due to wet conditions and a gloomy forecast for the remainder of the day, yesterday’s series opener against the New Britain Rock Cats in Connecticut was postponed. A makeup date has yet to be announced.

The Fisher Cats and Rock Cats will now play a two-game series beginning tonight at 7:05.
