Bats break out

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats scored twice in the seventh inning to break a 5-5 tie en route to an 8-6 win over the Portland Sea Dogs last night.

Jack Murphy brought in the winning runs in the seventh when he hit a ball off the wall to score both Kevin Nolan and Ryan Schimpf. Murphy finished the night with three RBI, while Andy Burns had two RBI and John Tolisano had three hits.

Dayton Marze (one inning, one run) surrendered the lead after relieving starter Deck McGuire, but still picked up his first win of the season.
