Patriots’ Gronkowski, Falcons’ Samuel listed as questionable
The Atlanta Falcons listed cornerback Asante Samuel as questionable for tomorrow night’s game against the Patriots after adding him to the injury report with a sore thigh.
Samuel, a four-time Pro Bowl selection who played for New England from 2003-07, was limited in practice yesterday for the first time this week. A similar thigh injury sidelined him at New Orleans three weeks ago.
Meanwhile, the Patriots listed two-time Pro Bowl tight end Rob Gronkowski (back, forearm) as questionable. Gronkowski has yet to play this season.
Receivers Julio Jones (knee) and Roddy White (ankle) and left tackle Sam Baker (foot, knee) are questionable.
Jones leads the NFL with 373 yards receiving. His 27 catches are tied with New England’s Julian Edelman for most in the league.
The Falcons said that running back Steven Jackson (hamstring) won’t play.
Atlanta (1-2) hosts New England (3-0) tomorrow.
