Great leadership happens when ordinary people meet extraordinary circumstances with unusual intelligence and grace.
When we call on our better angels, even the worst of times can become a transformational period where our deepest fears are replaced by hope and heroism. When we choose hope over fear, our best thinking is available to us at the time we need it the most.

Both candidates for president are true patriots. While I don't agree with either of them on everything, I'd be honored to serve with both of them on just about anything.
For more than seven years, the United States has become the land of missed opportunities. At a time when the whole world was watching, we blinked.

The divisions we experience in our daily lives, born in ignorance and perpetuated by fear, cause pain. They prevent the realization of the best things that we can be. None of us is immune to their effects. Regrettably, many of us also find ourselves in situations where we individually perpetuate these myths, fears and untruths.
