The Insiders: A weekend of gaming glory is just a few short hours away
Have you been itching for a chance to get together with fellow game fanatics? Do you miss those late nights and long weekends of hanging out with friends and just gaming?
We understand your pain, and that’s why we want to make you aware of something that will completely change your mood. The day you’ve been waiting for has finally arrived. Starting tonight at 5 and going all weekend until Sunday night at 8, NHTI is the place to be. It’s the GG Festival and everyone’s invited. We’re not quite sure what the GG stands for, but we like to assume it means Gaming Galactathon. And not only is the public invited, but it’s also free.
It will be non-stop action in Little Hall, as just about every gaming genre is covered. From traditional board games to role playing, and computer to console LAN party favorites (including new and experimental games), there will be something for every gamer out there. It’s going to be an intense weekend, so grab enough Jolt Cola to stay awake for 51 straight hours of gaming glory.
But if gaming is not your cup of tea, then listening to the sweet sounds of the St. Paul School’s Chapel Choir might just make your day. It’s the final performance prior to the choir’s 10-day tour of England. Guess that’s why it’s called the bon voyage concert. It’s all starting to make sense. The concert is free and begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Chapel of St. Peter and St. Paul on the school’s campus.
And in an effort to further brighten your day, here’s a little tidbit. Today’s the last day of February, which means just a few more weeks of winter. We know, it’s hard to contain the excitement.
