Seminar on Obamacare for businesses scheduled for SNHU
The Center for Women’s Business Advancement at Southern New Hampshire University and Northeast Delta Dental will hold a second free conference for businesses about the Affordable Care Act insurance exchanges April 10.
The event is designed to be a nonpartisan educational session where business leaders can learn about the law and its affect on their companies, organizers said in a news release.
Presenters will include New Hampshire Insurance Department Commissioner Roger Sevigny and representatives of the U.S. Small Business Administration, Northeast Delta Dental, Compass, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and Great New Hampshire Restaurants Inc.
The half-day event is scheduled to start at 8:30 a.m. at the Southern New Hampshire University Dining Center Banquet Facility, on the university’s campus in Hooksett.
The sponsors – Northeast Delta Dental, Southern New Hampshire University, New Hampshire Business Review, WGIR-AM radio and the Center for Women’s Business Advancement – decided to hold a second conference after watching the fed- eral government change or delay many aspects of the Affordable Care Act since the first conference in July.
