The Insiders: Musical performances that may or may not include snakes doing yoga
Memorial Day weekend officially begins today, which means even if you’re reading this at work, you’re probably already on auto pilot, maybe even more so than usual. We’ve actually been at a barbecue for the last six hours; this column was written by our automated column writing program. No weekend shindig is complete without a little music, though, so we recommend taking in some of the sweet sounds of Concord tonight. The Concord Community Music School will have a student recital tonight at 7 for the cost of zero American dollars. Speaking of zero American dollars, that’s also the cover price at Makris Lobster House when Jake and the Snake Stretchers take the mic at 8:30 p.m. We’re guessing there aren’t any actual snakes – or yoga-certified stretchy snakes – in the show, but you might want to stop by just in case we’re wrong.
Tonight is also the premier of the spring performance by the St. Paul’s School Ballet Company at 8 p.m. in Memorial Hall.
