Monarchs rally before falling in shootout to Providence
Rally falls short
The Manchester Monarchs made things interesting after going into the third period with a three-goal deficit, scoring three times to tie the game before eventually falling, 5-4, in a shootout to the Providence Bruins.
Brandon Kozun, Andrew Campbell and Tanner Pearson scored during the comeback for the Monarchs, while Colton Yellow Horn had a second-period goal for Manchester. Jordan Weal added two assists to the offensive effort.
