Report to Readers: Need a hint? Take three
On Sunday we published a political quiz that proved popular among State House junkies and fans of the New Hampshire presidential primary. I also received a few notes from readers begging for a little help.
If you missed it, you can find the contest here. The idea is simple: Check out the 50 political caricatures drawn by Monitor cartoonist Mike Marland over the past 25 years and name as many as you can. Send me an email with your best guesses (numbered 1 through 50) at email@example.com.
Finding some of the cartoons a little tricky? Here are some hints:
1. There is one political figure whose picture actually appears twice.
2. If you’re confounded by politician No. 23, take a good close look at his briefcase.
3. And if you were befuddled by No. 38, consider the fact that Lamar Alexander isn’t the only politician who wears a plaid shirt.
We’ll keep the voting open through Friday. The contestant who gets the most answers correct wins a caricature of him- or herself drawn by Marland, of course. In the case of a tie, we’ll pick a winner at random from among the savviest players.
