The Insiders: We’re Citizen of the Year worthy, right?

Have you cast your vote for Citizen of the Year yet? Now’s the perfect time to do so! Each year, the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce chooses a Concord citizen who has led the way for the rest of our community as Citizen of the Year. Do you know someone whose tireless efforts have contributed to the general benefit of our community? Nominate him or her today, and they could receive the ceremonial tiara from Tom Brown at the 94th annual chamber meeting later this year. Just download the nomination letter from concordnhchamber.gov, describe how great the person is and send it in. The deadline is Oct. 4.

∎ ∎ ∎

Once you’re done voting for us for that honor, there are some things you can do today that involve actually leaving your house. For instance, there’s a free screening of the film August Rush at the Concord Public Library at 6:30 p.m. Follow orphan-by-circumstance August Rush as he uses his natural musical talents to track down his birth parents (spoiler alert: They’re both Geddy Lee). For more information, visit concordpubliclibrary.net.
