Start with the fact – this year, the Chase for the Sprint Cup got it right. Whether you were a supporter of the Sprint Cup’s first experiment with an elimination-based playoff system, or someone building up a year’s worth of resentment for the new format, you can’t argue that it worked. The two best drivers, from start to finish, were Joey Logano and Kevin Harvick. They were the ones who most deserved the championship.
