On Oct. 15, Community Action Program’s Elder Services and ServiceLink will present their third annual Bowls of Care evening, a fund-raiser and educating evening to benefit their important work in our community and to honor caregivers. Local restaurants will provide soups, wraps, salads and desserts for your dining pleasure. Each diner will take home a handcrafted pottery bowl, a gift from Maine and New Hampshire artists. There will also be a silent auction and music. Local caregivers will speak about their experience as caregivers. Their jobs are not easy. The Little Nature Museum is about to celebrate its 60th birthday. Sandra Martin founded the museum in her bedroom at her parents’ home when she was 13.
