Thank you Republicans in the NH State House for doing just what we elected you to do. Smaller government and lower taxes. This leaves money in the wallet of the taxpayer, the consumer and the businessman and it is those who will revive the economy, not the government. |

It's amazing...all this outrage, disrespect, yelling and protests at the State House and you know, not a single shot has been fired. First the Democrat Unions and those they control refused to enter the State House because of some phoney outrage that 2nd Amendment rights are protected there. Now the Democrat Unions are outraged that they and their distruptive thugs are not allowed in while the same 2nd Amendment rights continue to be protected. Aren't Democrats just a little ashamed of their false outrage? |

Good comments Rabbit but until we stop calling it "health care" when we really mean health insurance or medical treatment, we will never see costs go down. As long as people think health is a product of frequent doctors visits or drugs or shots and ignore a healthy lifestyle, the price will be hight and the battle over who pays for this treatment will continue. And paychecks will always take the hit. |

While your support of tax cuts is appreciated, tax cuts do not involve the Gov't giving taxpayers back their money. Tax cuts provide that the money is not take in the first place. Additionally, a tax credit is not giving money either unless it is a refundable credit which is really just a welfare program disguised as a tax issue. And tax refunds are not a give away by the Federal Gov't. They are simply an indication that you overpaid througout the year and the amount of your overpayment is being returned to you. |

Just to emphasize the point on mandates, a SD rep has introduced a bill to make gun ownership mandatory: [E]ach citizen residing in the state of South Dakota who has attained the age of twenty-one years shall purchase or otherwise acquire a firearm suitable to their temperament, physical capacity, and personal preference sufficient to provide for their ordinary self-defense... [E]ach citizen residing in the state of South Dakota shall comply with the provisions of this Act within six months of attaining the age of twenty-one years. This one is pretty good. It's about time people took some individual responsibility for personal protection...police can't be everywhere. |

Thank you Mr. Phillips for speaking out in support of traditional marriage. It is without question the best foundation for a family and a civil society. I expect our legislature will reinforce support for traditional marriage at the appropriate time. |
John4444, you can add to your list...
Gov. Rick Perry believes he knows what's best for every single little girl in the state of Texas and that is to mandate that they be injected with the Gardasil vaccine manufactured by Merck, (a contributor to his administration and campaign). The Gardasil vaccine has now killed 68 girls.
Apparently Gov. Perry believes the citizens of Texas can't figure out how to care for their health on their own and has now raised the heavy fist of Gov't forcing all college students up to age 30 (even those who attend as day students) to be injected with the meningitis vaccine, a vaccine that has now killed at least 15.
I hope all will recognize that the decision for medical treatment, even if marketed as preventative, should rest with the individual who would be injected and not with some Gov't official who knows nothing about that individuals health history. The individual has to live with the life-long consequences of adverse effects, not the Gov't.
