Before commenting like this (presuming) you should get the facts. This was not a science class it was an electrical trades class taught in the regional technology center by a teacher who is not only certified by the Dept of Education but is also a licensed master electrician by the Dept of Safety. WMUR and Fosters have published the actual police reports and there is a lot more to this story than the couple paragraphs here. Maybe the teacher should be penalized but their are also several students who should be punished severely as well, and not just for hooking up the wires, read the victim's statement and you will see what I am talking about. Another thing to keep in mind, this victim was not a child but was an adult and based on course selection one would believe this is the career he has chosen, he admits to doing it willfully and at some point in his life must accept responsibility for his own actions.

603lady though I agree with you that many people need to take a more active roll in their government, I will also say that in my past experience usually 150-200 people turn out and argue over $50 in a 1.2mil budget for 2 hours at town meeting (questioning where their tax dollars are going as is their duty as responsible citizen's) but 3 days earlier 15 people showed up and passed a 3.6 million dollar school budget without a single bit of discussion.

Dan I had a feeling you actually understood but were making a point. Out of the posters on this site you seem to be one of the few who even though we don't always agree listens to both sides of the issue and doesn't just stick by the I'm right and your wrong mentality. On another note, yes you can throw the bums out, I just don't think it is the correct action in this instance (and some may disagree as that is their right). The biggest thing I learned while spending 6 years on the other side of the table is that there is a big difference between talking about getting rid of the bums and doing something to try and change it as they only have the powers given to them by the town's legislative body (town meeting) and there is no way everyone will be happy with that so all you can do is use your judgment in the best interests of the town. You are also right as I do not understand half of what Abu says either.

BTW what happened to your pic, did the "activists" who have no clue about wildlife management get it removed? I thought it was a great picture and if people didn't like it they don't have to look at it, just like if they don't like what I have to say they don't have to read it.
