Although I never met Jen and she was my friend's neighbor she seemed like such a wonderful person and did have a very warming smile. Words just can't say enough how wonderful Bruce is too and such a nice guy. I tell him every time I see him to give Smokey that handsome Siberian Huskey a big hug and kiss for me. In memory of Jen I will try very hard to be brave and give a blood donation in her honor which is something I have never done before. After reading this story my heart goes out to Jen's family and Bruce for staying by Jen's side and for all that they have been through. Once again my deepest and sincerest sympathy to all of you in this time of your loss. May all of the warm and cherished memories stay in your hearts forever.

Since the Assistant Manager has a big opinion of herself anyway and seems to push her weight around since her title has gotten to her she should clean the bathrooms and her sarcastic tongue while she is at it! She should not make derogatory comments in reference to CJ's military background because most of the time she walks around with a sour puss and acts like a drill Sargent herself.

God forbid that any of you who criticize disabled people ever end up in a wheel chair. I never thought that I would have difficulty walking but because of arthritis from head to toe and a serious back injury I cannot move as quickly as I used to and am in constant pain. Many of us think that this cannot happen to us and have a blind eye to thinking that we will never be in that situation. But, one never knows you could go to work tomorrow and get badly injured, get hit by a car when you are walking or god forbid get in a bad car accident and become incapacitated and unable to function as you once did. Therefore, do not judge or criticize others until you have walked a mile in their shoes and have some compassion.

Merry Christmas to Laura, Brian and Mitchell Briggs. Although I never knew your husband Michael and father words cannot express how much I cried that day to learn of his passing. It is heart breaking to hear of something like that which happened to such a wonderful person and it is even more frustrating that the punishment did not fit the crime and the monster that did it is only living off the taxpayers and living in the luxuries of state prison, he should be put to death the sooner the better.

Unfortunately, the article is true and there is a considerable amount of favoritism at Staples. They do make employees clean the bathrooms and if one employee does not want to do it the same employee is stuck doing it all the time. At one point they did have one person on days from about 6:30 AM - 2:30PM that would clean the toilets, dust shelves, etc. but, she must have retired so they push their managerial weight around and make the cashier's and might I add only certain ones do it. I am happy that CJ had the courage to speak up they give you gloves but that is it.

With many people in our country out of work due to company layoffs and closures and losing their homes as well as going hungry it seems as though this money could be used likewise. If we took this amount of money and all of the money that useless Obama has spent each and every American would be able to get their home payments caught up, keep some food on their table, and be able to stimulate the economy at the same time. It is just absolutely, positively ridiculous and sickening to see the amount of money that these no good politicians waste after lying to get into office and the money could certainly be used to help American citizens whose money it basically is anyway to get back on their feet and survive.

When I first moved to Concord I had several problems with noisy and partying neighbors, as well as with my son who was ADHD. Officer Cebollero was always there to console me and help me through. There is such a void in Concord now and it just will not be the same without Officer Cebollero. Congratulation's on your retirement to the best police officer The City of Concord ever had! He has had many accomplishments, and is an outstanding person who deserves the very best!

I couldn't agree more with Doug and Marilyn of Bow it has gotten out of hand and we are over run.  We are United States citizens born and raised.  These people get free rent, free medical and dental care, take away our jobs and are just an overall disgrace to society.  It is quite aggravating when they can't speak English, do not have any manners, are extremely rude, commit a high majority of  crimes and expect America to cater to them - enough is enough we need to take back America before the liberals turn it into a socialist country and ruin it.  It is because of liberals that we are in the state that we are in and ruined by being over run with foreigners.

Concord certainly does not need any more restaurants in the closed movie theater location and we do not need any more pharmacies! Loudon Road is busy enough with speeders on a daily basis and a dangerous road to begin with. I certainly hope that Hodges as well as the new buyers will have some business sense and do not put up any more pharmacies or restaurants, or motels. However, a Red Arrow type of all night diner would not be a bad idea at all. Concord needs an all night diner.
