He should lose all rights to drive permanently - which probably won't stop him anyway.

Is Jennings Drive a subsidized apartment complex?

Did I miss the part where the letter they signed gave the $$ amount? $700 is too much!!!! Maybe the parents should have question what the amount was before signing, but who would have thought it would be THAT much!?!? I hope the parents of the other kids raise their concerns as well.

I wondered that myself. Goes to show how much $$ they made during the building boom and how they didn't particularly care about what rules to follow.

It kind of sounds like you have to "buy" your grade. Given the current economy, that seems like a ridiculous amount. If the letter signed by the parents stated the amount needed, it might be a little different. Glad my kids don't go to Bow schools.

It's nice to read how some of the students are ok with this more lenient rule, however, the majority show how they are used not caring about following rules. Kind makes you cringe when you think that these kids are our future generation - not caring about rules....next will be not caring about the laws! I also agree with another comment made that the teachers who do not enforce the rules should also have some type of disciplinary action. The teachers should be leading by example....if they don't enforce the rules, the kids think it's ok. Now that some of "the tricks to hide cell phone use" are made public, teachers should now be looking for it and they already know some of the culprits name.....hhhmmmm should now seem easy to confiscate these kid's phones!

Their lockers are longer in the hallway - they are tucked away in various spots in the school.

Most stores will allow an exchange without a receipt, but not cash back. Maybe stores will start becoming more strict with their policies!??! It will only start increasing the store prices for us "paying" customers!!

There is nothing that saddens me more young children losing their Mom, especially when the Mom is so young. I hope they find out what happened to her to quickly for the sake of her family and friends.
That being said, I do not agree with her decision to leave her young children unattended (while it does not state how old the "young child" is), people can makes mistakes. As challenging as it is to go to this VERY BUSY office toting young children with you, if she was just "checking in", she should have brought her children with her. If I saw small children left alone in a car, I would have called the police as well. There was no way of knowing how the children had been there alone, nor how much longer they would have been alone. There are so many things that could have happened to these young children. A horrible person happening along this situation.....breaking into the care and taking them is much worse.

My thoughts go out to her family and friends.

Seriously? Your comments seem snobbish - insinuating that Hopkinton should be embarrassed about this? I highly doubt anyone involved would have violent criminals transported from prison to work on this project. It's great what this project has done with these kids and they were trying to expedite it and do it within monetary means. They still need money - why don't make a donation?

What an honorable and selfless act. I registered a few years ago as well. It is sad that Mark passed, but at least he is no longer in pain.

For Concord High students, there is a fee for them to take the bus!
