The supposedly adults (teabaggers) were in need of the sheriffs and deputies that used to beat demonstrators in the 60's. Then perhaps they would begin to understand the bigotry from the victims point of view. The civil war is alive and well in New Hampshire. |

I agree with critchett as there is more to this story than what's being said. It's a sad world when police officers go into a Pepper Spray Shop and take an item off the shelf that doesn't belong to them. Supposedly it belonged to someone who used to be a member of their motorcycle club and for whatever reason was sold in a storage locker sale in which Mr. Blackden bought legally. If the colors are so important why weren't they purchased back instead of stolen back? Is this what our police force has turned into? Thugs that protect their colors? We have this pathetic scenario where an officer tied to a theft has taken his life for whatever reason, and recently we have a biker from a rouge bike gang who gets in a fight with a relative and carves an X in the top of his victim's head. What more in the bike world can we expect this summer from motorcycle gangs? Their giving themselves a bad name. |

Jim and I are knowledgeable about current use, are you? If you need to put your land in current use as it's used for income as part of your farm then please use it. If not then pay the taxes along with the rest of us schmucks..... |

If the land isn't part of one's occupation then they should pay their taxes instead of hiding behind this loophole. If they're not working the land and they want it only for tax breaks then by all means... sell it! Pay your fair share |

"Along with power comes great responsibility" (Uncle Ben Parker, Spiderman #1). These "professionals" should act respectfully in the public arena such as Representatives Hall at the Statehouse. |

Mr. Bassett to committees and the House Majority Leader D.J. Bettencourt (a supposed republican) has an issue with this highly praised, hardworking, well rounded man? I think Jim Bassett has an extremely high integrity and who is a better candidate in this day and age? The Governor has the right to nominate and appoint this man and others to the state court system while he's still the Governor, it comes with the turf. |

If your a card carrying republican you have to love the stress property based taxes cause cities and towns. We should get up to speed with broad based taxes so the working man like you and I can still afford our homes. |

I actually think the "Willard" is little more than a show pony. "Please pay no attention to the man behind the curtain." |

purposes? My great grandfather was the Chief of the Penacook Tribe and used it when needed. My Grandmother kept a little around for just this purpose and she wasn't a druggie. My mother used to laugh at the law enforcement community when they'd arrest some kid for a joint. It's safer than alcohol.... |
