to get cervical or breast cancer? Or are low income and uninsured women allowed to get breast exams and pap smears wherever they can afford them? That is what this is about. |

there was a way small companies could band together, it would help. If a company with 30 employees has one employee with major medical costs, it knocks the rates to unaffordable levels. |

Everything a hospital gives free comes back to us as higher rates. This hits our insurance, which makes their rates higher. Those extra high charges to those without insurance get charged back to our insurance, Medicare and Medicaid in the rate setting as unpaid debt, which again makes all the rates higher. Great system - the less we can pay, the more they charge, the less we can pay, the more they charge . . . We either need a single payer plan or let people die when they get sick, we can't afford it now. |

This is the third "Steve Duprey is great" article this week. I don't even know the man and I am sick to death of him. |

and I am a member, too. And as members, maybe it is time for us to look closer at their books and ask some of these questions. And the fair share payers can become members and bring up these issues, too. Imperfect as it is, it is still the only protection we have against much worse. And the reason for fair share is to allow those who don't agree with SEA to pay for what they get without supporting SEA fully. Which is why we don't need "right to work". |

the benefits for free? I have never seen anyone refuse a raise, or turn down a benefit because they didn't want to join a union. Talk about NH values, what about paying your own way? I'm not really thrilled with "fair share" but I understand why it's necessary. Isn't giving things to people who pay nothing to get them against the Republican way? Or is it only against the Republican way if they are elerly or disabled? |

But, even though it can't be you, don't you hope that someone will help him? I'm sorry, been there myself, he's doing good now, thanks to someone else. |

For some people Planned Parenthood is the non-profit avail;able. Do you not grasp that not everyone has cars, and that some areas don't have the same access to services as you do? And if Planned Parenthood is no longer an option, will the other places have the resources to provide services for those that are getting these services at Planned Parenthood? Just because you don't agree with one aspect of Planned Parenthood, doesn't mean the other aspects aren't necessary. Your money is not going to abortions, plain and simple. |
but we will continue to whine about getting taxed out of our homes. And an extra $30 a year on our car registrations.
