See my reply above. Also, just bc gay marriage was pushed through under veil of darkness and deception when the dems were in power, doesn't mean everyone should be stuck with it simply bc it's now legal. I say get the gay religion out of state issues if you're pushing out any and every other religion as well.

So love whomever you want, since as you said: "love is the one thing you can't bind" but stop trying to force everyone else to accept your gay religion and beliefs. It's hypocritical and discriminatory.

Gays aren't seeking equality; they're demanding that two things which are irrevocably not equal, and have absolutely no capability of ever being equal, be treated as equal; as if the undeniable differences between the two are immaterial. Marriage is accorded a singular recognition simply bc of the unique benefits it provides to society via the model it strives for and the complementary relationship it can demonstrate--a capacity which can't be duplicated any other way. Same sex unions are incapable of demonstrating the same characteristics and provide no benefit to any society. That other types of relationships besides marriage can, and do, exist isn't in question. By the same token, there's nothing unfair about treating these other differing relationships differently from each other. This isn't a civil rights issue. Previous prohibitions against so-called interacial marriage weren't about changing the definition of what consitutes a marriage, only wrongly restricting who could participate. Gay marriage is about a blatant demand that the definition be changed to suit the whims of a small minority. Voters in over 31 states have chosen to reaffirm one man/woman marriage as marriage has been since time immemorial.

Also, there is absolutely no scientific concensus that gays are born that way. Some are gay one day, then oops decide they weren't really gay. But we're jumping through hoops for nothing more than a popular leftist mythology and a political agenda. Those of us who have educated ourselves on the truth of the issue don't buy all the lies pushed by the gay agenda.

340,000+ abortions and 2400 referrals for adoption, but PP is really just in the biz of women's preventitive health care....NOT!

And Pat, if you really think public money isn't used for PP abortion services then I have a bridge to sell you. You're way too naive for your comments to have any true meaning.

Throwing more money at the broken public school system has and will never fix the horrible education the kids get now. It's always "for the children" but most intelligent people know that's simply not true.

I once worked for a multi-millionaire who spent what he made and more. That's what public educators do. If they got it, they'll spend 1 1/2 times more.

We elected these people to cut spending so what were you expecting?

It's not just military pensions but also veterans with various disability ratings who have not received any increase and won't receive an increase. For anyone who is on a fixed SS disability or Veterans' disability or pension, with rising prices on everything, their payments pay for less and less and less. A company I know of (two decades in biz) just laid off someone who was with the company from the beginning) since it's cheaper to pay relatively new, younger hires. The older you are, the more vulnerable you're likely to be to be let go. Everyone knows age discrimination is probably epedemic, but good luck trying to prove it.

Just think, if the major media had actually properly vetted BO, he would never have been elected. The mere fact that (while "serving" as a US Senator most of which time he spent running for Prez) he voted "present" rather than yea or nay. Why? BC he did not want voters to have a clear pic of who he really is and what, if anything, he really stands for. Say what you want, but no matter what happens with Palin, she is constantly vetted under a microscope by liberal progressives and their left-wing media. And she has actually made some decisions and does have a track record unlike the very elusive BO.

It's unfortunate that people bought in so easily to "hope and change" without knowing what that really meant. Now we know, and it ain't a pretty picture. Apparently he now has a fat lip from playing basketball and that's exactly what he's given the American people.

People aren't quite so mesmerized by him anymore, but the truth is that 30% will pretty much always vote their party line no matter what, so 2012 will come down to the 40% of "independents" who hopefully will properly do their homework this time on all the candidates and make an intelligent rather than emotional decision.

"is because the majority of this country now believes that gay marriage is just fine" you say. So, that's why the voters of the very liberal California said "no" to gay marriage? Do all 50 states now have gay marriage? Answer: no. You must get this from some very liberal progressive website or source, but it simply is not true. When you're doing research, it's important to look at both sides of the issue and stay open minded. The Human Rights Campaign is really a gay rights organization. NARTH is Christian based psychologists, etc. The APA is made up of both straight and gay people so it's important to research more to determine what the source is of various information. A gay APA leans one way, while a straight APA member leans another way. Think of it as polling. You can ask a question in a certain way to get the result you want. Both sides use facts, falsehoods, and other data to get what they want. Why? Because humans are not perfect and everyone filters their believes through their own set of experiences, etc. Everyone has a bias whether they acknowledge it or not.

However, everyone is entitled to their opinion and even though you might not like mine and feel the need to call me a hater, bigot, homophobe, racist; I believe you're still entitled to your opinion. I'm really interested in truth and not pc or random statements that upon further research prove to be false.

You can hate Christians and that's you're right. It's my right to disagree with you and name-calling means nothing to me as it's merely hate speech in an attempt to muzzle people.

I said religious and other reasons. There is no one link so start researching and putting it all together, but then according to you "it's simply irrelevant" anyway. As though I'm gonna dig out all my files for something you think is irrelevant anyway?
