Letter: To the MVSD School Board

Published: 10/24/2021 7:00:11 AM

I had the honor and privilege of attending a MVSD School Board meeting held in Webster recently. Subsequent to a “small school study” recently conducted it was specifically called to offer time for the community of Webster to share thoughts and ideas concerning the future of both Webster and Salisbury elementary schools.

The openness of the board, the creative ideas of those attending and the deep sense of care for the children were inspirational and refreshing. As the grandmother of a second grader attending WES and a lifetime educator as well, I am deeply grateful for the dedicated women and men serving our community on the school board and those working tirelessly in our schools and communities with one thing in mind: the health and well-being of our precious children. To each and every one I send a heartfelt thank you!
