Winnisquam 74, Kearsarge 55

Key players: Winnisquam – Frankie McCoskey (20 points), Anthony Booker (17 points), Ben Rollins (11 points), Ayden Cushing (11 points); Kearsarge – Josh Holderman (13 points, 3 steals, 3 assists), Ajay Tremblay (11 points, 4 rebounds), Jacob Rockwell (8 points, 3 rebounds), Parker Goin (7 points, 7 rebouns), Joe Yanzo (5 points, 14 rebounds), Sean Stanchfield (5 points)

Highlights: Kearsarge led 16-12 after the first quarter, but Winnisquam connected on four 3s in the second quarter and outscored the Cougars 29-13, which made the difference in an otherwise close game.

Coach’s quote: “Winnisquam is very talented, they have multiple players that can score, and are well-coached. With that said, we played them fairly close except for the second quarter that got away from us. If we score 55 points, that’s a game we need to win. Our defense needed to be a lot better tonight, credit to Winnisquam for making shots and moving the ball really well against us.” – Kearsarge’s Nate Camp

Records: Winnisquam 10-3; Kearsarge 4-10
