Derek and Dylan Thomson made an important stop in their cross-country journey to help support former Concord High Principal Gene Connolly’s battle with ALS.
Connolly was waiting at the State House on Tuesday for his former students, where the group exchanged hugs.
The brothers will finish their 4,500-mile trek this Saturday, as they and a group of locals will pedal from Concord to Seabrook. Any interested cyclists can join the Thomson, who will leave Saturday at 8 a.m. from Memorial Field.
