Ben Tobeler had a goal and an assist as the Bow JV boys’ lacrosse team beat Goffstown, 9-2. Defenseman Alex King also scored for Bow and Mason Grasso finished with a pair of goals.
The Hopkinton JV baseball team (1-8) lost to Bishop Brady, 8-2. Hopkinton’s Sam Rawson threw a complete game with six strikeouts, eight hits, two walks, two hit batters and four earned runs. Rawson also went 1-for-3 at the plate with two runs scored on an RBI single in the fourth from Trent Gagnon, and an RBI single in the sixth from Jack Vallari.
Ella Doherty, Emily Forward, Erin Doherty, Gea Asher, Katelynn Counter, Maggie Connolly and Nicole Toler all scored goals, Rebecca Bamidele played well on attack, and Chloe Bemis held up the defensive end, but the Concord girls’ JV lacrosse team lost to Merrimack, 8-7.
Logan Otto (three hits) delivered the game-winning hit as the Concord freshman baseball team beat Keene, 7-6. Will Shoemaker had two hits for Concord, Gage Piwowarczyk pitched four innings and struck out four, and Kyle Hill closed the game by striking out five and allowing just one hit over the final four innings.
The Hopkinton middle school softball team lost at Auburn, 16-4. For Hopkinton, Jordyn Barrett had two hits, Lauren Martel ran the bases well, and Maurgan McGrath played good defense.

Banks Chevrolet defeated the Corpus Christie Hooks of Bow, 8-3. Dylan Miles pitched 4 ⅔ innings for Banks, striking out nine and allowing three hits, while Bryce Miller (three strikeouts, one hit) collected the save. Miles (1-for-1 2 RBI) and Kaevryel Madison (hit, RBI) led the offense and AJ Fennelly, Cam Plumb and Avery Vaillancourt all added hits.
Patrick Owen and Alex Turant each had triples, Levi Madison scored three runs and Will McDevitt reached base three times to lead Bank of NH to a AAA win over the Bow Timber Rattlers.
The Flagworks AAA team defeated the Bow Toledo Mudhens, 15-3. Kale Washburn had a great game on the mound for Flagworks and catcher Carl Sirrianna excelled behind the plate.
Rowley defeated the Bow Batavia Muckdogs, 15-7. For Rowley, Mason Bolduc had a hit and scored a run. Eion Matthews also scored for Rowley, and T.T. Ling had two hits and scored two runs.
Matt Lewis and Will Platt each had great hits and Aiden Brown played a tough game to lead the Hopkinton Sharks to a win over Concord Brine Team Sales. For Brine, Cole Hatton made a great defense play while Nolan Wolff pitched well.
Concord National’s Vermette Orthodontics defeated Concord Northeast’s Granite State Glass. For Vermette, Wren Amrol had a pair of doubles and Marley Witham went 2-for-2 with a walk-off single. For Granite State, Sydney Frye pitched well, Anna Morriera played well in the field and Avery MacDonald had a nice hit.
Quality Cash Market beat Body Armour, 11-10. The Body Amour team played well as a whole, battling back late to tie up the game in the last inning, Playing well for Quality Cash was first time pitcher Ally Tessler and Gianna Gualtieri, who collected her first base hit.
The Hopkinton Bears defeated Penacook Pharmacy, 13-12. Piper Otis and Sienna Cook had great at bats for the Bears, while Gabby Stearn and Nikia Raymond both did well at the plate for Penacook.
The Outdoor Sports Center majors softball team edged out Cimo’s Market. Ava Harmon pitched well and was supported by a good team defense lead by Kim Ortiz and Ashely Geschwinder. Cassie Pfitzenmayer had three hits and Grace Smith lead Cimo’s with 2 RBI.
The John Stark unified volleyball team beat Pembroke, 2-1. It was the first win for John Stark against Pembroke in five years.
Melyssa Donovan’s walk-off home run in the bottom of the seventh inning gave the Tilton School softball team a 2-1 win over Proctor Academy in the semifinal round of the Lakes Region softball tournament.
Kayley Hughes, Tia Raspante and Amanda Crowley led the Tilton girls’ lacrosse team to a 15-2 win against Vermont Academy.
The Tilton baseball team lost to Holderness, 7-3. Pete Lowenstein pitched a good game for the Rams, Zac McWhinnie had three hits, including a double, and an RBI and Cam Weitzman had two RBI.

Gilford’s Zach Poisson was named to the YSCC All-Conference baseball team, along with Joe Levesque. The NHTI baseball team also picked up the YSCC Sportsmanship award and Coach Tom Warner earned Coach of the Year honors after leading the Lynx to the conference finals.
