Two sisters in their 60s and one of their husbands were killed in a four-vehicle crash in Hooksett.
Linda Leclair, 68, was driving a 2020 Nissan Rogue north on Hooksett Road on Wednesday around 1:20 p.m. when she sideswiped a Toyota Camry and then a GMC van as her vehicle turned left onto Main Street, police said.
Once on Main Street, Leclair rear-ended a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee and then continued across the center line and struck a tree stump on the left-hand side of the road near Donati Field, police said.
Leclair’s sister and her sister’s husband – April Milner, 66, and Gary Milner, 70, of Sanbornville – were passengers in the vehicle. All three were taken to the hospital after the crash and later pronounced dead, police said.
The driver of the Jeep suffered minor injuries, while the drivers of the Camry and GMC van were unhurt.
Leclair lived in Farmington, which is north of Rochester and about an hour away from Hooksett. The Milners lived in Sanbornville, a small town with less than 1,000 residents, another 15 miles north of Farmington.
It remained unclear what Leclair and the Milners were doing in the area and what led up to the crash.
Hooksett police said they are still investigating. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hooksett Police Department at (603) 624-1560.
