Middle school track

The Rundlett Middle School girls’ track team had two individual champions in the Blue Dukes championship meet on June 3 at Memorial Field. Sherry Smith, the Division I state champion in cross country this past fall, claimed the 1,600 meter title in 5:45.2, edging the runner-up by half a second. Ella Goulas won the 400 meters in 1:04.65.

Youth softball

Concord Northeast Local Baskit defeated Bow Carpentry, 9-8, with a walk-off run by Katie Lavoie to advance to the Cap Area Majors semifinals. Anna Leon pitched important relief innings to help keep Local Baskit in the game. Local Baskit defeated Paquette Pools, 6-5, with a come-from-behind victory in the previous round. Abbie Vlacich pitched four no-hit innings and Dorothy Ricard had a critical at bat. Natalee Rowell was stellar in the circle for Paquette.

Youth baseball

In Concord Northeast Babe Ruth action, Kiwanis defeated Concord Police Patrolmen's Association behind strong pitching from Griffin Norwalt. Carl Sirianna and Beckett Rose had hits for Kiwanis. Nolan Staples-Roy and Theo Schneible each had hits for Concord Police.

■ The Associated Grocers of New England improved to 7-3 with a 14-10 win over Service Credit Union behind the strong pitching of Adam Morgan and Luke Ireland. The offense was powered by the hitting of Emmett Barker, Patrick Fennessy and Michael Bozek. Service Credit Union was led by the pitching of Maddox Harvey and the hitting of Lars Fjeldsted and Steven Styles.

Youth lacrosse

The Concord Crush 8U girls’ lacrosse team lost to Timberlane, 17-7. Concord had goals from Eliza Warden, Regan Baxter, Violet Crumrine, Mae Clattenburg and Bridgette Cayer. Evelyn Belanger played well in goal. Concord Crush also lost to Hollis Brookline, 8-7. Crumrine, Belanger, Kelsey Jabo, and Cayer played well. Reese Nelson made many saves in net.
