ConcordNHTI hosts road race

On Oct. 22 at 9 a.m., NHTI will host the Granite 10 Road Race. The race is open to the public and the entry fee is $10. Food and refreshments will be offered and prizes will be given to top male, female, masters, and age category winners. Proceeds benefit Concord Boys and Girls club. ConcordPTO holiday vendor

Mark your calendars for Nov. 30, when the Abbot-Downing School PTO will holiday vendor fair from 6 to 8 p.m. in the school cafeteria. There is no charge to attend the event, which will include vendors, snacks, a raffle table and more. The PTO is currently accepting applications from vendors who would like to rent a space. Fees range from $25 to $35, and all vendors will be required to also make a donation to the raffle table. Only one vendor from any company will be allowed space. GilfordPTA hosts annual ‘FUN’draiser

The Gilford district PTA’s annual Fall FUNdraiser will be Saturday from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion. There will be a silent and live auction. The PTA is looking to raise money to repair the deteriorating track; any extra will go to help build a maple syrup shack at the middle school and introduce an afterschool Spanish program. New LondonSinger performs encore show

Anastasia Robinson will perform as a soloist in Handel’s Messiah performed by the Kearsarge Chorale. There will be two shows Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 19 at 3 p.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 724 Main St., New London. Robinson performed last year in the Chorale’s Gloria. DerryFundraiser show for domestic violence

Miss Capital Area’s Outstanding Teen, Morgane Vigroux, has organized a Cabaret for a Cause on Oct. 28 at 7:30 p.m. at the Derry Opera House. Money raised will benefit state domestic violence organization. The show will have jazz music and performers, hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. Seraphim Afflick will perform a tribute performance of Marilyn Monroe. Other performers include James Kinne, Tom Poirier, Aly Aramento, Pinkerton Academy Jazz Combo and Vigroux.
