Scouts celebrating 100 years of service in Hopkinton

Celebrating its 11th year, Intown Concord’s Upstairs/Downtown Walking Tour is going to the birds! After last year’s successful haunted tour, the tour is going even bigger! The rooftops are calling! View historic downtown Concord as we trek up staircases and climb through windows to take in the wonderous and beautiful skyscape of Downtown Concord. The tour will start at the Atrium in Eagle Square located at 7 Eagle Square and continue to each point of interest around the city! Final locations will be announced in September. HopkintonCelebrating 100 years of service

Hopkinton Troop 77 will celebrate 100 years of service with a Centennial Picnic at the Kimball Lake Cabins in Hopkinton on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. The celebration will begin with an opening ceremony at 3 p.m., followed by a flag retirement ceremony. Guests can enjoy cabin tours, woods walks, and displays until dinner is served at 5 p.m. The event will be held rain or shine, please bring your own chair. All are welcome to celebrate with the Troop. Past Troop Boy Scouts, Scoutmasters, and their families are especially encouraged to attend. RSVP: or 225-5232.
