Letter: Cormier a strong conservative voice for District 16

It has come to my attention that we have a new face on the horizon running in Senate District 16.

Former state representative Jane Cormier is running against Sen. David Boutin, and I for one am supporting her candidacy for the state Senate.

Cormier has a strong conservative record supporting small business and less regulation. In addition, she voted against the gas tax increase and the expansion of Medicaid.

She is a strong and unflinching supporter of the Second Amendment and has proven she will stand against those who seek to grow government here in the Granite State.

Boutin, despite taking the Coalition of New Hampshire Taxpayers’ No Tax Pledge in 2012, voted for the gas tax and the expansion of Medicaid. He also was the reason Constitutional Carry did not become New Hampshire law. And his support of Senate Bill 120, which would silence opposition from discussing his actual voting record, tells me he is not the senator for me.

Jane Cormier has my vote, and I hope she has yours as well.
