OUR ENVIRONMENT NEEDS MORE LOCAL REPORTING
The Concord Monitor is launching its Environmental Reporting Lab, a long-term effort to better inform the community about the New Hampshire environment. To launch phase 1 of this effort, we need your help. The money raised will go toward hiring a full-time environmental reporter.
Please consider donating to this effort.

Eversource Energy and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation are set to announce a partnership that will help manage and preserve three separate areas of New Hampshire.
The sides will announce the public-private partnership Thursday morning in Londonderry.
The multimillion-dollar deal targets preservation of habitats for trout, rabbits and some of the state’s endangered tree species. Northern Pass is providing the project funds.
Grantees of the project are the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, Trout Unlimited and the Connecticut River Watershed Council.
A press conference is scheduled for 10 a.m. in the Londonderry town offices on Mammoth Road.
